PCCW Solutions acquires Compass Solutions Holdings Limited

PCCW (SEHK: 0008) - HONG KONG, May 2, 2013 – PCCW Solutions, the IT services flagship of PCCW Limited, has acquired Compass Solutions Holdings Limited (“Compass”), a leading service provider specializing in the implementation and support of SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in Greater China.

Compass currently operates in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China. It has served more than 300 customers in various industries especially the wholesale, retail and manufacturing sectors, including a top retail footwear chain operating 250 outlets and a popular restaurant chain with more than 80 outlets in Hong Kong and Macau. Compass is the only authorized SAP Partner in Hong Kong and mainland China with the SAP Gold Channel Partner (since 2006) and SAP Education Partner status. As an authorized SAP Education Partner, Compass can provide certificate training and academy courses to train SAP consultants. In addition, Compass was recognized as a member of SAP Asia Pacific Japan’s Top Partner Initiative, and is a Master SAP Value-Added-Reseller in Hong Kong and mainland China.

The acquisition of Compass will add a team of around 200 professionals with in-depth expertise in SAP implementation and training, enabling PCCW Solutions to further expand its ERP capabilities, customer base and geographical presence. Following the transaction, PCCW Solutions will be even better positioned to deliver greater value to its clients through the combined experience and best practices.

PCCW Solutions has an excellent track record in deploying large-scale projects such as the nationwide ERP implementation across 31 provinces in mainland China for China Mobile, as well as helping Bossini manage the rollout of ERP across five regional centers in Asia.
