Background
Organized by Hong Kong Design Centre, Business of Design Week (BODW), is an Asia’s premier annual event on design, innovation and brands since 2002. It gathers some of the world’s most outstanding design masters and business influencers in Hong Kong and all around the world to inspire global audiences on the strategic value of design and innovation. It is also a valuable platform for business and creative leaders to exchange ideas, network, and explore new business opportunities.
Challenges
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, BODW 2020 turned from a physical event into a hybrid event. There were more than 100 visionaries and creative leaders across sectors and industries from around the world to share their ideas in a series of engaging hybrid forums and discussions, including 57 live and semi-live webinars in three languages to contribute their insights on collaborative creativity, diversity and sustainable and inclusive growth.
Solutions
Appointed as the Digital Program and Marketing Services Partner, Regen8 managed BODW 2020 hybrid event holistically and collaborated with ViuTV to provide TV broadcast, virtual summit and live streaming. Regen8 supported BODW 2020 from online to offline, from pre-event to post-event with comprehensive solutions, including virtual event website design and development, registration and attendee management, virtual event platform management, webinar hosting and operation, video shooting and production as well as promotion on digital channels.

Organizer experienced an effective quality event management and production, with 57 live / semi-live webinars conducted in 3 languages. Over 100 speakers from Hong Kong and overseas enjoyed the hassle-free hybrid event to share valuable and timely insights into future trends. The event engaged numerous registrants around the world, and yielded tens of thousands of views in only 3 days, with plentiful interactions between attendees and presenters. Our digital program and marketing services created a valuable platform for participants to network, exchange ideas and explore business cooperation, creating rewarding experience and new value in business with design.
